Current work is based on many years of experience at university institutions as a clinical scientist with a focus on internal medicine and cardiology, engagement with current translational issues, initiation of international, multicenter clinical trials, acquisition of highly competitive research funding, and platform leadership.
She is certified as a lead investigator according to the German Medicines Act (AMG), the Medical Devices Act (MPG) or MDR, the Genetic Engineering Safety Regulation and animal experimentation.
PD Caroline Schmidt-Lucke, MD, is well versed in leading multidisciplinary teams with the stated goal of conceiving, designing, conducting, and publishing clinical evaluations, trials, or studies for the success of breakthrough innovations for unmet medical needs.
